Hi, my name is Mrs. Sosa. I am a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher here at BEHS! The philosophy of Family and Consumer Sciences is to help each student become the best version of themselves as a family member, employee, and citizen in our community. I have the opportunity to work with your child through Food and Nutrition to prepare them for life after high school. I have the best job!

Your child will receive CTE credit for this course.

Welcome! My name is Paula Powers and I am a teacher in the Career and Technical Education Department (CTE). This semester I teach Fashion and Fabrics I, Child Development and Health. Upon successful completion, students earn CTE credit. CTE provides needed skills to succeed for life: technical skills, academic skills and employability skills. In addition, career and technical education helps students see how what they're learning applies to the needs of employers.

Hey there! My name is Rachel Pryor and I am a new teacher here at BEHS. I am a certified athletic trainer that is teaching sports medicine to our hopeful athletic training students. This course will help them gain skills for becoming a professional, college student or any other journey they step their foot into. Sports medicine is focused on athletic training and the sports medicine umbrella, but provides versatile medical skills too. Once the student has successfully completed the course they will receive a CTE credit. This will eventually become a pathway course that will have sports medicine 1, 2 & 3 and the students will gain more knowledge and skills along with clinical skills as they move along in the classes. The students will have an opportunity to work side by side with athletes as if they are their patients too (once we are up and running again). This will give them an idea if the medical field is for them! I look forward to getting to know all of the students and teach at this amazing school. Go Tigers!
