Hello! I'm Jennifer Bradbury. I began teaching at B-EHS in 1999. I love helping students engage with text in many forms as they develop their voices as creators and critics. In my spare time, I write books for children and young adults and go on adventures with my family.

This is my second year teaching at Burlington-Edison High School. I teach English 9 and 10. I graduated from Western Washington University with a Masters in Fine Arts/Creative Writing and a Masters in Teaching. I'm half-time and will only teach during "gold" quarters.

I'm devoted to teaching students how to dig deep into texts and use skills they learn in Language Arts to help them be successful in other areas of life. I also aim to make my grading and assessment practices equitable so all students can do their best and focus on learning instead of just getting a grade.
