Raider Challenge Team participates in five-event team adventure race style competitions. Raider Team is for cadets who enjoy the physical training portion of the JROTC program. The team focuses on physical endurance to complete tasks such as tire flip, rope bridge, 5k run, obstacle course, and litter carry.
Drill Team competes in Color Guard, Squad and Platoon level close order military drill competitions. .Drill Team helps cadets master and execute individual movements in group synchronization. This team builds precision, confidence, and camaraderie. Drill is a reflection of discipline and requires dedication, hard work, and integrity.
Air Rifle Marksmanship Team is dedicated to teaching and developing competition-style shooting. Cadets are taught the proper and safe way to shoot and handle air rifles and compete in accordance with national 3 position air rifle competition rules.
The JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl is an all-service national competition that culminates in the Level III JLAB Championship in Washington, DC! JLAB strengthens cadets' knowledge in a variety of academic topics and JROTC curriculum topics. In the academic team competition, members compete to answer ACT/SAT style questions quickly and correctly. Team members build leadership skills, strengthen knowledge, and improve their testing abilities.
Team practices take place each Monday through Thursday (4 days/week) from 3:15pm until 5:00 pm. JLAB practices will be scheduled for a handful of after school sessions in October and November.
