Parent Resources

We welcome and appreciate parents and guardians becoming involved with the Rocket Battalion. Parents are always welcome to observe our annual Pass in Review and team competitions. We may also ask for volunteers and chaperones for other events over the course of the school year. If you are interested in volunteering to become a chaperone or support an event, please see the "BCS Volunteer Requirements" link below.

The Booster Club is a collection of parents and family members of cadets. Its mission is to help the JROTC program raise money for cadet-related supplies, equipment, competition expenses, and social event funding. The Booster Club also helps support cadet activities and events by providing chaperones, supporting cookouts and camping trips, etc.

The Booster Club will have two meetings during the school year. All parents are welcome. Meetings are held in the AC Reynolds High School JROTC room or over ZOOM at 6:30 PM. A notification will be sent before each meeting.

Every cadet is encouraged to participate in organized battalion fundraising to raise funds for cadet activities and supplies. All of the profits go to the cadets. Cadets can also receive awards and other incentives for participating in additional fundraising for the battalion's general fund. None of this fundraising is mandatory.

In AC Reynolds High School JROTC, the equipment and uniforms issued to the cadets is provided at no cost when cadets enter the program. Items can be turned in and replaced free of charge when outgrown. If it is determined that a cadet damages or loses a piece of equipment or their uniform, payment to replace the damaged item will be necessary.
