Change your cover image to quickly identify classes

Check your rosters with each Course in Schoology to identify which Course matches your class periods in Powerschool. Create a cover image for each class with your preferred class name using Google Drawings, Canva, or your preferred image editing tool. The dimensions are 1700x900 pixels.

Drag and drop courses in order you prefer

Schoology syncs with Powerschool each night, so if you delete Lunch, Planning, etc., they will reappear each morning. However, you can reorder your Courses to move them to the bottom of your screen if you prefer. Under Courses select My Courses (on the right) and Manage Courses to select this option.

Exit Tickets and Quick Writers

If a teacher posts an Assignment with a question to answer, students will not be able to see the question once they open the "Submit" window. Our advice is to teach students to open the Assignment, copy the questions (CTRL C), and select “Submit.” They will then paste the questions (CTRL V) and answer below. You may also want to teach them how to bold text or change colors so their answers are clearly visible.

Add Mrs. Meverden as a co-teacher to Courses

Connect your Google Drive to Schoology

Select the Resources tab in your top blue bar. Select Apps to connect your Google Drive. You can now assign and pull materials from your Drive into your Courses. Here is a thorough step-by-step guide.
