Girls in STEM is a group that meets twice a month. One meeting is at the high school and is a planning meeting for the joint meetings that we have with 6,7 and 8th grade girls. The joint meetings involve participating in STEM activities with the younger girls to both have them learn and get excited and have some fun!

Science Olympiad is a competition where high school students spend one Saturday competing in different events to win medals! First, teams will participate in the regional competition, and if they qualify, the team will move on to the state competition which lasts an entire weekend. Most events involve partnerships. Events include topics such as Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Scientific Method as well as building events.
