As we continue to navigate an ever-changing world, our commitment to learning, collaboration, and equity remains steadfast. The work we do each day demands ongoing growth—not only for our students, but for ourselves as educators.

We’re pleased to share the SY25–26 Professional Learning Catalog, which reflects an exciting shift in how we approach professional learning in City Schools.

What’s New This Year?

Starting this year, the district will no longer centrally lead 100% of teacher PL. Instead, we are piloting a shared model that blends school-based and district-led learning—creating more meaningful connections between professional development and student outcomes.

Why This Change?

Because real impact happens closest to students. Schools know their communities best, and this model gives leaders and teacher teams more autonomy to design PL that is:

• Driven by student data

• Responsive to teacher needs

• Differentiated by background and experience

What to Expect

This year, we’re embracing a spirit of safe practice. This is a learning year—for all of us. We’ll take risks, make mistakes, reflect, and grow together. Our shared focus will be:
