Strategic Implementation
During this stage, the team will focus on how this new tool will be shared with school staff. Focus will be on how it will be easily accessible, updated, and maintained to ensure data stays up to date during the entire school year.
Estimated Time: Approximately 60 minutes
Tasks:
Collate and Analyze Identified Resources
How can the information gathered be organized so that is readily accessible and easily updated?
How can resources be strategically applied, or reallocated to reduce barriers?
What barriers remain after strategic application of resources? Can they be avoided/addressed in the future?
Do any of the programs or resources serve a similar purpose? If so, how are they the same or different?
Are there any gaps in your resources or areas with few programs or resources?
Facilitate Access to the School
How can the information collected be organized and be made available to the school community in order to facilitate access to resources?
How can information be disseminated? (website, newsletters, directory, etc.)
Resource Mapping Tool: The Finalized Resource Map
This worksheet can be used to manage how the Resource can be shared with staff and maintained. Select the image to the right to download the Microsoft Excel Document. In order to create your own workbook, you will need to select File > Save As > Rename to edit
TIP - After the Finalized document is complete, be sure to share with an "Anyone with the link" access. This allows everyone inside and outside the organization to access the document (as long as they access it with the link). If you would like to specify the people who you would like to access the document, you can do that as well.
Lastly, when sharing the Finalized Resource Map document, we suggest restrict edits to the document. By following this step, your team can consistently evaluate and update the interventions without changing the shareable link.
TIP - Interacting with this file is easiest when editing in the Desktop App.
