ELA/Math Classroom Focused Resources/Supports
As tiered interventions are identified, keep in mind "good teaching" and differentiation are Tier 1. In addition, small group is the vehicle for an intervention, and not the intervention itself. When you are defining the interventions for Tier 2, keep in mind that these are programs/supports that are in addition to the Core Curriculum. These are additional and intentional supports given to students based on data, and the data will help the team determine if the intervention should stop, continue, or become more intense through a Tier 3 plan, or SST.
Attendance Resources/Supports
A variety of Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions and supports are needed for a strong Attendance Program. The key is early intervention, consistency, and options. As a result, the supports provided in Tier 1 and Tier 2 must be be implemented quickly and with fidelity to keep the numbers for each support manageable.
SEL and Behavior Resources/Supports
Behavioral and SEL supports are captured here. Keep in mind that the schoolwide Behavioral/SEL program is Tier 1. There should be many options to support students based on what students are motivated to participate in.
