SEL Warm Up: Rainbow Breath-Flow

Today is Wellness Wednesday. We will practice ways to strengthen our body and mind by breathing and exercising. Deep breathing can help us regulate our mood when we're stressed and exercise can help us work off any tension we carry from the day. We'll learn how dance helps us stay healthy through movement and through self expression.

Diedre Dawkins

Ms. Dawkins is a 2003 Bessie Award winner and founder of “Dance is Healing” mentoring for middle school girls through dance. She serves as the Director of Arts at ConneXions, A Community-Based Arts School, the Assistant Professor of Dance at the Peabody Conservatory and adjunct professor at Coppin State University.
