"Mama Magi" Magira Ross

Shout out to Ms. Magira Ross, dance teacher of Western High School. Ms. Ross is the real life demonstration of Western's Motto: Lucem accepimus Lucem demus. This is Latin for: We have received light, let us give light. Ms. Ross is a light for all of her students; many consider her a safe space, a mentor and confidante hence her nickname "Mama Magi". She is hugely supportive of her colleagues and the City Schools Fine Arts Community. Way to go Ms. Ross! Keep making a difference in the lives our students!
