Most of the college application process uses Naviance and/or Common App. Make sure you are able to log into Naviance as well as link your Naviance and Common App accounts. A. Edit your college list in Naviance
When a student needs their transcript sent to a college, there are a few steps to follow. If these steps are not followed, the transcript will not be sent.
Students must request a transcript to be sent through Naviance. Watch this video to show you how.
There are a few colleges that do not utilize Naviance (i.e. Bowie). Students must complete this Documentation Request Form to have their transcript sent to those specific colleges.
Seniors should have at least two letters of recommendation: one from an ACCE staff member and one from outside of ACCE (mentor, church, internship, job, etc...).
When requesting a letter of recommendation from an ACCE staff member, it must be requested through Naviance. Watch this video to show yow how.
One of the MOST important steps in the college application process is the financial aid process. Students must complete the FAFSA to receive financial aid. College is expensive! One way to offset the cost is to apply for scholarships. Apply to as many scholarships as possible! Use the resources below to find scholarships! ACCE's CollegeBound Specialists can support with scholarships as well!
When students receive scholarship money, please submit written documentation to your College Bound Counselor. Awarded scholarships have to tracked in Naviance.

After you make your admission decision....
Read your acceptance letter carefully!
You must notify each college or university that accepts you whether you are accepting or rejecting its offer.
You should make these notifications as soon as you have made a final decision as to the college you wish to attend, but no later than May 1. It is understood that May 1 will be the postmark date.
