2. Create a Pacing Guide

• Here’s an example of using a table to make a pacing guide. Here’s a short video tutorial on making one using Google Sheets.

• Use video greetings to open units, including screencasting of pacing guides. This is a great way to bring your face and voice to your course asynchronously.

3. Allow for Voice and Choice

• Encourage students’ intrinsic motivation by creating multiple ways for students to complete their work.This allows for the development of four essential academic mindsets
