Our CATCH facility in Stallingborough is unmatched. In addition to first-class engineering workshops and classrooms our site also features the National Centre for Process & Manufacturing, the UKs leading end-to-end live process operations training plant, which includes a state of the art control center, a simulator suite, an impressive tank farm and a fully functioning process facility. Plus the new cutting-edge Welding and Pipefitting Hub.

Offering hands on training and links to over 350 companies within the Humber region, an apprenticeship with HETA is the best route into a career in engineering.
We offer Level 3 apprenticeships in aspects of engineering including: Mechanical, Electrical, Multi-skilled, Instrumentation, Design, Marine, Fabrication & Welding, Process Operations and Machining.
Typically, a learner joins HETA in September and trains at the centre for the first year or their apprenticeship, working four days a week in the workshop and one day a week working towards their qualification. In years 2 and 3, apprentices will spend the remainder of their time of the HETA programme at their sponsored company, assessed via portfolio-based assessments and regular reviews with our engineering assessors.
