Please contact Ms. Pack for EVF and scheduling verification. Students are required to meet with your school counselor before enrolling classes at Clark College. Schedule an appointment by using her scheduling link below. It's important students are still monitoring their school email on a regular basis for school information while attending classes in college. Review your college calendar and River HomeLink calendar.
Clark College Running Start Information for Students
Clark College Running Start Steps for Enrollment
Running Start EVF for 2025-26 - complete & return the enrollment verification process before Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
About Running Start
The Running Start program allows students who have completed 10th or 11th grade but have not yet started the next grade to enroll in college courses tuition-free, earning both high school and college credits simultaneously. This program can help students get a head start on their college education while saving money. Students who have completed 10th grade can participate in Running Start during the summer term, taking up to 10 credits.
Fee waivers are available for students who qualify for free or reduced-price school meals, ensuring cost is not a barrier to participation.
If you or your high schooler are planning to take a Running Start class at Clark College or Lower Columbia College this summer, please contact your high school counselor, Dawn Pack (pack.dawn@battelgroundps.org) as soon as possible to complete the enrollment verification process before Wednesday, June 10, 2026. An enrollment verification form helps students avoid unexpected tuition charges and ensure that their Running Start classes count toward high school graduation.
You can request an EVF from your counselor now and return it to your counselor by the last day of school.
Due to budget constraints, EVFs submitted after June 10 cannot be processed, and the student will not be able to enroll in the summer class. They will need to wait until the fall term.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
