Assignments and Lessons(not in use at this time)

When daily assignments are posted

Please check this site daily. Daily work is posted by 3:00. Compare your student's planner to see if what they wrote agrees with the assignments listed. If not, please continue to communicate the importance to your student to copy everything I list on the board. Please note that if I have after school meetings or tutoring, the assignments may not get recorded. It is the students responsibility to write it in their planner everyday. Time is given for them to do so.

When your student is absent

It is important that students and parents look at the " Daily Assignments" to get the specifics of what was covered. As many assignments as possible will be available on google classroom or my website. All textbooks are available for students to read the assignment online. Parents may pick up needed materials at 2 p.m.

Please remember that any workbooks or school supplies taken home MUST return to class the next day the student is in school for use at school. Students can and will take home their writing assignments to work on, BUT all writing assignments MUST come to school each day so students can work on them in class.

Parents, please note that if your student is absent, it will fall on your shoulders to walk through the lesson they are missing so they can do their assignment. I can help parents quickly after school if you are here to pick up any materials/ handouts but you need to be here promptly at 2:00 in case I have tutoring or conferences. Students absent will need to make up their tests on google classroom even if they are absent and quizzes in my class on their first day back at school or on the second day by parent request. The student will be given class time to take their test while other students are working on their language lessons. Science activities missed due to absences need to be made up after school from 2-2:30 or if it assigned on google classroom, they complete it there. Students need to initiate any after school makeup assignments in science.
