abstract application of my earthy coloured glazes
these sadly haven't been glaze fired yet due to kiln access but they will fire to match the colours of the blue teacup, and the yellow cup and vase, creating matching sets
this spoon will match the sugar pot I made above.
I made a second flower vase
'sunburnt country'
rutile yellow/orange
testing clear glaze on coloured slip

I've been learning to weave as I'm interested in craft practices in general, and I'd like to learn textile crafts that don't get enough recognition and are dismissed as something only peasant women used to do such as weaving, crochet etc. I started a piece on a base of sticks with muted 'natural' colours and on the right I started a piece on a diy cardboard loom to learn different techniques such as Spanish lace, interlocking, Egyptian knot, diagonal interlocking etc.
