BEYOND MIDNIGHT (2024)

Beyond Midnight is a multimedia collaboration with Michel Droge, Carolina González Valencia, Asha Tamirisa, and Tristan Koepke. Using footage from a Schmidt Ocean research expedition off the coast of Costa Rica that Droge participated in as a visiting artist in residence, the exhibit takes the viewer deep under the sea for a captivating and dreamlike sensory experience.

Koepke devised somatic proposals and improvisational scores designed to be performed within the exhibit at Bates College's Immersive Media Studio. Pacheco performed this work alongside Tristan Koepke, Adelle Welch and Claire Kaminsky
