Moving images are at the core of Miguel's work. He emphasizes both individual search and collective collaboration. Whether it is his work as a dancer, stilt walker or carpenter, he is committed to exploring ideas in space with presence and witnessing. Movement, memory and fleeing landscapes fill his work; the work of gesture and understanding of what remains from what we do and don’t remember is currently the driving force of the work.
