Message from the Principal
Hello families and friends of BAMS!
As we approach the final month of 2024, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress our students have made this semester and to thank you for your continued partnership in their education. It has been a joy to see our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally over these past months.
December is a special time in our school community, filled with opportunities to celebrate learning, foster connections, and give back. As the holiday season approaches, we recognize that this time of year can be both joyful and busy. Please know that our school is here to support you and your family in any way we can.
We would also like to welcome our new Vice-Principal, Mr. Runk, to BAMS. Mr. Runk brings middle school experience with him and is excited to join our BAMS family!!
Conversation Starters:
Are there any upcoming events or projects you’re excited (or nervous) about?
What’s something kind you did for someone today, or someone did for you?
Who did you spend time with at lunch or during breaks?
Hopefully, some of these questions will help get the conversation started!
Attendance Matters
As the school year continues, we want to stress the importance of regular attendance at school. Consistent attendance helps students build relationships with their peers and teachers while keeping them on track with their learning. If your student is facing challenges that may affect their attendance, please reach out to our counseling team. We’re here to help!
A few dates to keep in mind….
Students will not have school on from December 21st through January 5th.
School will resume on January 6th, 2025.
Be sure to check out our STARS of the month. STARS stands for Students Taking a Right Stand, and each month, 2 students from each grade are selected as the STARS!
Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to our school community. On behalf of our faculty and staff, we wish you a wonderful holiday season filled with peace, joy, and quality time with loved ones.
With gratitude,
Dr. Garman and Mr. Runk
