       Have you ever wondered about an alien planet?Well there is another planet that has only just been discovered.This planet  is called planet X. This planet is half frozen and can range between 16 degrees to - 90 degrees at the poles. And scientists have discovered life on planet X which seems nearly impossible. There have been many creatures discovered so far but still much more to be found. The creature that we have found is called the wolvfinal.The wolvfinal has adapted like many other animals in this cold habitat. 

                                               physical adaptations 

The wolvfinal has many adaptations. First they are the size of a cat but have the body structure of a wolf that can reduce heat loss.They also have a long, thick, soft coat like a husky that snow will just wipe off instead of clumping and sticking together. Another adaptation is owl-like eyes, These help with them seeing in the dark by the owl eyes adjusting to the dark since it is a nocturnal animal and thrives in the dark. Wolvfinals have strong puffin wings that are shielded with waterproof feathers, These are for them to be able to swoop in on their prey without the prey feeling the vibration of the water when hunting fish. They have excellent senses that help them sniff out their prey.  Their excellent smell  exceeds the smell limit of any sort of dog or bear breed . Lastly they have big,sharp teeth and strong jaws that can tear through fresh and frozen meat to eat for  themselves and give to  their cubs.

Wolvfinals usually live in dark, moist caves. These caves are mainly surrounded by frozen lakes and tall,pointy glacias.the floor of this creatures habitat is covered with different sorts of vegetation. Including spirits of grass,purple hay like vines ,  piles of light fluffy snow , withering flowers and gorse ,prickly bushes surrounding the cave with vibrant  pink berries hanging on . Around the cave there are more snowy mountains sitting on the outskirts of their habitat.

                                                           behavioural  adaptations   

Wolvfinals like going out at night and stalking the area that their prey live in  to hunt for food . They dislike travelling in packs and prefer to hunt and live alone until they look to get a mate after a certain period of time. During the night they also not only hunt, they rome and bury themselves in the snow to creep up on their prey. Wolvfinals  hate getting wet unless they are hunting for fish and any other creatures they can find. After 5 months wolfinals separate from their mother and survive for themselves hunting and gathering resources for their chosen cave or surviving in the snow. They will start looking for a mate after they are between 2 - 4 years old. A wolvfinal will be born with around 6-7 siblings that will do the same when they get old enough.

Every mother can give birth to around 7 pups and after that can live for around 15- 20 years after giving birth. Every 9 years they find a new mate but will not have more pups. It is incredible how they survive on this planet and their re still more creatures like this one still to be discovered.
