The Feroz Furta is a medium sized, wolf-like animal that lives slightly southerly and northerly of the equator and has a life span of around 10-15 years. They travel in packs from 5 - 8 and live in caves on the sides of mountains.
The Feroz Furta Lives In a Tundra like Place Near the equator with temperatures going up to 16 Degrees, and Lowest -30 Degrees. You Can find the Feroz Furta near the Cliff and rocky sides and Deep snow forests. You can also find the Feroz Furta near lakes and rivers As it helps the Animal Feroz Furta drink and eat all the meat except tanniply meat . If the lake is frozen it is likely it’s at the Cliffs or Forest. The Feroz Furta Sleeps in caves near rocky terrain and cliffs, Because it is warm in the caves.
They have a camouflage tail that can change colour to disguise anything behind it. The female Furoz Furta uses her tail to hide the cubs from predators and sometimes to hide the den by covering the entrance of it with her tail.
The male goes out of the cave to hunt for food but it uses its tail in a completely different way. It stands beside a tree and wraps itself in its tail and makes the tail look like tree bark, so when an animal passes by it jumps out and attacks it. The Feroz Furta has grown lots of fur to help it to stay warm.
On the side of behavioural adaptations they tend to get very aggressive once an enemy predator tries to attack them, the female being the most aggressive. Sometimes the Feroz Furta can meet up with the Tanniply, and will become one team if needed. When the Feroz Furta has suspected danger
in the area they will quickly form an upside down V formation. How it works is that the leader goes at the front and the two beside the leader are basically Bodyguards, and the rest will defend the leader by keeping the enemy away.
This new discovery has shown the possibilities of how an animal can adapt to certain habitats that are far colder than we could ever live in.
