Math Resources
Applying technology is increasingly necessary for college and career success. Much of what we do in class will involve technology in one way or another. The following resources may be regularly used in our class.
Main Resources
Google Classroom
HW, classwork, and notes are organized here. Work done in notebooks will still be required.
Aeries Portal
Graded assignments are found here. I will leave comments if quizzes have been retaken indicating what the score increased from.
IXL Math
Practicing skills will be done using this website. Students will also complete recommended skills based off of their diagnostic test.
Desmos Graphing Calculator
Be sure to download this free app. on your smart phone, as well as sign-in and save work. Desmos is the official calculator for the Smarter Balanced test, which is taken by all 11th graders.
Google Sheets
Using a spreadsheet allows you to create visually appealing graphs very easily. You can, also, create formulas to do complex tasks very quickly. Below are a couple of student samples of Google Sheets to create nice displays and make general statements about survey responses and data.
Geogebra
Geogebra is yet another graphing calculator software I use. It is useful for constructions and for creating shapes that are too difficult to create using other graphing calculators. Try it out by clicking the button below or the interactive 3D activity.
Khan Academy
You can find videos and practice on all sorts of math concepts.
