This is my 15th year as a math teacher and 7th year at Apple Valley High School. I have lived in Apple Valley since 2013, and teaching in the district my kids have grown up in is an honor. I have taught AP Calculus AB, Probability and Statistics, Math 3, Math 2, and Math 1. It has been my pleasure to have served as a department head, School Site Council member, co-administrator for summer school (Sitting Bull, Vanguard, and Desert Knolls), mentor teacher and reflective coach for 5 high school teachers, and a previous site rep. for the Apple Valley Unified Teachers' Association.
I am an avid blood donor (57 pints/7+ gallons), enjoy traveling, hiking, and dirt bike riding, and have volunteered weekly at a local church for about 10 years. Below are some pictures of my family and some great memories of mine. We have visited the following National Parks: Carlsbad Caverns, Whitesands, Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree, Sequoia, Haleakalā, and the Petrified Forest.
