Discipline Information
Demerit Policy: Tardies, dress code violations and other disciplinary issues deemed inappropriate will count as a demerit against the students.
Please be aware that 10 or more demerits will exclude students from extracurricular activities such as dances and athletic contests. This includes being guests for other schools’ events. Students must have nine demerits or less on the FIRST day of ticket sales in order to attend.
Students have the opportunity to reduce their demerits by serving after school detention (one time per year) for -1 demerit, Wednesday campus beautification after school (unlimited opportunities) for -4 demerits, or attending Saturday school for -6 demerits. Sign-ups are located in A-6 and campus beautification is limited to 20 students per Wednesday.
