All staff are required to complete or assist in the completion of documentation including but not limited to; daily notes, clinic meeting notes, and IEPs. To compile accurate and meaningful documents reflecting student progress, data collection is vital, and all team members are needed to contribute to the data collection process. The use of a laptop is required to use electronic forms for data collection and progress reporting.
Homework is an important component of your clinical experience. It provides clarity to what has been taught and prepares you for what you will be encountering in your work day. Homework will be assigned on a daily basis and reviewed with your clinical instructor the following day.
To be completed every Friday morning. They will be reviewed with your clinical supervisor.
The student is responsible for presenting a formal oral presentation to the clinical staff during Clinical Practicum II and III. The topic of the presentation and the size of the audience are left to the discretion of the Clinical Instructor (CI). The student is not allowed to use a previous oral presentation. The CI will be provided with an evaluation form for rating the student’s presentation performance.
