Chromebook Troubleshooting Tips
Make sure that your Chrome browser is updated.
Sometimes your Chrome browser needs to be updated to make sure the most recent software updates will work on your Chromebook. Here is how to do that.
If this does not resolve your issue, you may need to power wash your Chromebook.
Powerwashing completely resets your Chromebook. Before you do this process please do the following:
Fully charge your Chromebook
Move any files stored on your Chromebook into your Google Drive (All files stored on the device will be removed and cannot be recovered)
Carefully follow the directions in the video.
If this process does not fix your device, please contact the Austin ISD Technology Help Desk for Students.
