ALL Appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis.
We are unable to schedule same-day or next-day appointments.
You may start scheduling appointments three weeks before the start date, and you may schedule three weeks out from the day if the deadline permits.
Click the ACC Session Scheduling button to schedule an appointment.
You will only see available appointments. If you don't see any, no appointments are available before your professor's deadline.
Once you have successfully scheduled your appointment, you will immediately get an appointment confirmation email. The information in the email is VERY IMPORTANT; it confirms the appointment and provides instructions on how to join the session correctly.
You will be sent the link to the testing session the day before the appointment.
Note: You must be logged into your ACC email account in order to access the ACC Session Scheduling system.
When you submit your appointment request, you will be sent an email from Session Creator do_not_reply@austincc.edu with "Session Appointment Confirmation" in the subject line. That email contains information about your upcoming testing session, including when you can expect to receive the link to your appointment session.
The day before the appointment (by 11:59 PM), you will receive an invitation from Class with "You've been invited to join a class!" in the subject line. This email will contain the link to the testing session. Please contact us on the morning of the appointment if you do not have the link. PLEASE NOTE: you will not be admitted if you are late.
Here are some tips for a successful testing session!
Visit a Practice Session to verify your device settings.
Be sure to use a fast, reliable internet connection. Hotspots are unreliable and may cause technical errors while you are in session.
Make Google Chrome your default browser.
To avoid technical issues, please update Google Chrome before your appointment.
If you are using an Apple computer, you must adjust your macOS screen share settings before your appointment.
Make sure you know where your exam is located! Before entering your appointment, open Blackboard and have your exam page ready to show your proctor.
CLOSE ALL YOUR APPS & TABS. You are allowed only one Google Chrome window open with the following acceptable tabs: GMAIL, Class & Blackboard. (unless otherwise noted by your instructor or proctor)
Ensure your laptop is fully charged and/or your charger is near you. Breaks are not allowed. If you need to leave the room, you must submit your test and contact your instructor.
Check the list of materials allowed for your exam. Ensure you have the proper materials ready before joining your session.
Share your ENTIRE Screen. If you cannot share your ENTIRE screen, you will not be able to take your exam and must reschedule.
We recommend you schedule your appointment a few days before your deadline. This will allow you to reschedule if you encounter any issues. Remember, we are unable to schedule same-day or next-day appointments.
Before you cancel, please review the following information and reschedule your current appointment.
Check your exam’s deadline. We cannot accommodate same-day or next-day appointments.
Please contact your professor for guidance if your exam is due before an appointment is available to you.
Once an appointment has been canceled, it immediately gets released so other students can reserve it, and you cannot get it back.
Please go to the ACC Session Scheduling page to cancel an appointment. You will click View/Cancel Appointments and cancel the appointment there. Once you have canceled it, you can submit another appointment request if needed. You will only see available appointments. If you don't see any, no appointments are available before your professor's deadline.
To reschedule your appointment, you will need to submit another appointment request. The appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis. The system resets overnight, so if you missed your appointment or experienced technical difficulties you will need to wait till the next day to reschedule.
We cannot accommodate same-day or next-day appointments. Please contact your professor for guidance if your exam is due before testing sessions are available to you.
