US History I & II
At previous institutions, I've taught Classical & Roman History, Western Civilization and my favorite course to teach, Medieval History
The college I attended allowed students to create their own majors. So I did an interdisciplinary mix of History, French, Philosophy, and Religious Studies. My advisor and I created this major because I had decided I wanted to attend graduate school to study Medieval History, and this gave me a broad foundation to draw from later.
Don’t be afraid to dream a little about your future. You need a sense of fulfillment somewhere in your life. If not in your job, then in a hobby or other activity that you enjoy. It’s part of being human.
I enjoy talking to students one-on-one about career options. It’s so much fun to dream a little and then plan to make those dreams a reality!
I viewed this opportunity as an extension of my work with students in the classroom and hope to be a better mentor in the future.
