September 22-28 is Banned Books Week, an annual event that celebrates the freedom to read and draws attention to the harms of censorship.

Today was the grand opening of the Matador Unity Garden on campus. What a great event! The culinary students even made this pasta salad.

My favorite part of the garden is the beautiful California native wildflowers.
