The Visual Arts Department offers a wide variety of classes that engage our students, develop their creativity, and empower their artistic voices and skills. Our classes include study in drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic design, ceramics, screen printing, photography and digital photography, classic film, and AP art history. We emphasize ideas and growth in subject areas, while introducing students to new concepts and techniques. Critical thinking in art is taught in the context of history and culture. All classes that are year-long fulfill the University of California's Visual Arts requirement.
