Weekly Homework Packets
Homework is due every Friday at the beginning of class.
Every week students will receive a homework packet that consists of 2 pages of math and 2 pages of grammar.
There will be a weekly quiz on Fridays that a related to what is on the homework. If a math test is on the same day, then there will not be a math quiz.
*IMPORTANT: Some of the questions can be review and some can be new. This is to help students familiarize upcoming concepts.
Students should be reading 30 minutes daily. While there is no official reading log, there is a tracker on the cover sheet. In class, students will track what books they have read in their leadership binder to complete the 40-book challenge for the year.
Finally, every week, students are to record which of the 7 Habits they practiced. Click here to see examples.
Monthly SEL Bingo Homework
There is a monthly homework calendar for students to complete to help them develop their social and emotional learning. They will turn this in on the designated due date that is on the page.
During our class circle, students can share a favorite activity they have completed.
Take pictures of these moments!
Rotations
There will not be homework assigned from rotations unless there are projects that need to be completed and were not finished in class.
Please encourage and remind your child at home to practice putting first things first at school so they do not have to bring home unfinished work.
