Gifted & Talented

The Audubon School District defines gifted students as those students who give evidence of high achievement capability in areas such as intellectual or leadership capacity and whose educational experience would be enhanced by enrichment activities.

Multiple measures are used in the preliminary process to identify students for G&T. These measures include: academic performance, student social, behavioral, and learning characteristics, and teacher and parent recommendations.

Students identified and selected for Gifted & Talented will be identified and services will be provided during the school day. Additional outside opportunities may be available throughout the year at the recommendation of the teacher/school program.
