Revisiting bylaws. Anne had a few comments from before. Eli and Christian to take a look at the bylaws before the next Board meeting and report back with some preliminary comments. Next meeting is February 28, 2022. Move on to other corporate documents later.
Chanty. Deb is creating a new folder for admin stuff. Board members should review it a week or so before our meetings.
Grants. We were approved for the Equitable Engagement Grant and the Neighborhood Network Grant. Approx. $17,000. Remember, goal is to spur further engagement with Latino and cost-burdened household communities within Audubon Park. Translations for Spanish and Somali speakers.
Farmer’s Market discussion. Seems like the Board is in favor of having the market in the parking lot next to the Johnson Street Merchant’s Association, as previously planned. Deb and Anne are also planning to go check out the new potential office space beneath Coffeeshop NE on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Meet behind the building with landlord.
Community gardens on Johnson Street. Future item for discussion. We all like gardening!
Deb is going to rough up a description for other assistants to help with the other grant programs.
