Learning Targets:

• The student will identify values, interests, skills, and personality traits

• The student will identify personal skills, interests, values, and personality traits and relate them to current career choices

• The student will identify personal preferences and interests influencing career choice and success 

Success Criteria:

• I know that I have met the learning target when I have a better understanding of how my values, interests, skills, and personality traits play a vital role in my selection of a potential occupation. I further know that I have met the learning target when I can explain how I can use this information to choose a career path.

These assignments are designed to make you think analytically about the values, interests, skills, and personality type that you currently possess that can help you select a job that would be considered a good fit. Finding a job that you like is important in choosing an occupation that could turn into a career. The values you hold, the interests you have, the skills you possess now along with skills you may learn in the future, and your personality traits play vital roles in finding a career.
