Dunby Dollars are used to thank, acknowledge and reward team members for delivering heartfelt service to our guests, fellow team members, and community while following the Auberge Culture.

AM I ELIGLIBLE TO RECEIVE DUNBY DOLLARS?

All non-management team members of The Dunlin are eligible to receive Dunby Dollars including full-time, part-time, on-call, and supervisory team members starting at the time of hire.
All managers are eligible to issue Dunby Dollars to team members.
Team members must be actively employed to redeem Dunby Dollars.
Each “bill” has a $1 value unless otherwise specified.

WHAT'S THE PROCEDURE?

Manager awards team member Dunby Dollars - Managers must write team members’ name, give reason for awarding the Dunby Dollar, and sign under “Leaders Signature”
For F&B or Spa reservations, team members will request their reservation through the Dining Request Form or Spa Request Form. It should be noted at the time of reservation that they will be using Dunby Dollars to pay.
One-night Stay and Paid Day Off can be redeemed from T&C
Lost or misplaced Dunby Dollars will not be re-issued
Dunby Dollars are non-transferable

HOW DO I REDEEM DUNBY DOLLARS?

Team members must present Dunby Dollars to the outlet for payment at the time of redemption
A service charge of 20% applies to the pre-discounted total and serves as the gratuity for dining and Spa services

-F&B Example: You have 80 Dunby Dollars and reserve Dinner for 2 in Linnette’s. The subtotal of your meal is $180. 80 Dunby Dollars will cover $160 of that total, and you will be responsible for paying the difference of $20 + the 20% service charge ($36) & tax

-Aster Example: You have 150 Dunby Dollars and reserve a 60 minute massage. The subtotal of your massage is $300. 150 Dunby Dollars will cover $300, and you will be responsible for paying the 20% service charge ($60) + tax

NOTE

Lost or misplaced Dunby Dollars cannot be re-issued
Dunby Dollars are not transferable to others
Should a team member quit or be terminated, once notice is given, the team member’s Dunby Dollars become invalid and cannot be used. Therefore, Dunby Dollars are only valid for active team members at The Dunlin

Auberge encourages all team members to explore and consider opportunities for growth within the collection, both within your current property and to others. Opportunities include transfer to another position, department, or location.

If you wish to express interest in a transfer, please ensure you fulfill the following:

Process:

1. Team member that is requesting a transfer will fill out the first page

2. Team member will bring to their manager to fill out the second page

3. Manager will return completed form to T&C so they can share with the manager of the open role

4. The team member will then be informed they can apply officially and interview for the role.
