5-month design sprint in ViiV HIV labs. I recruited the research population and also created the final report with 3 ideas. 2 of the 3 ideas were picked for further technical evaluation and one of them was executed and launched as a Mobile App (iOS and Android)
United States ViiV Pharmaceutical wants to develop some products/services for PLHIV. The product would be unbranded and open to all and must be compliant with HIPAA guidelines but it cannot cater to the prescription of DTG (Antiretroviral by ViiV), it cannot cater to pregnant women or children and it cannot be a content creation platform.
User research, insight, and design sprinting and wireframing
Interview, field study, clinical paper review, competitor audit, low fidelity wireframing, focus group, persona, user stories, user journey, empathy mapping and JTBD framework for feature prioritization
900,000 detected cases of PLHIV
>70% of the disease burden is amongst gay men, bisexual men
Black men were 40% of the PLHIV population
A transexual person was 17 times more likely to get diagnosed and undermedicated than others even though they were 2% of PLHIV
Black and People of Color (POC) see the most rise in cases and are most under medication
White people account for the most newly diagnosed PLHIV contractions through drug usage
Comorbid diseases such as STIs, Kidney disease, Hepatitis, Herpes, and others were seen in over 17% of the population
Southern and western states saw the most disease burden
Only 86% of PLHIV know their status amongst gay men
Only 88% of heterosexual men knew their status
56% of people remained in care after diagnosis
3.5 years of medical record design on Salesforce healthcloud. I was the UX researcher and Designer part of the development sprints.
At Fresenius Dieticians and Social workers typically manage 100 patients a month. Patients come to the dialysis center for Peritoneal/Hemo Dialysis(PD/HD) or 7% of them do their dialysis at home. These professions are not rewarding as no-shows, poor lab results, or elevated negative outcomes outside of the hospitals are blamed on these services. These outcomes also mean no revenue for the company or extra work for the clinical staff. How can we help them?
How to improve clinic numbers by increasing efficiencies in Registered Dieticians (RD) and Social Workers(SWs)
User Researcher/Designer to understand the RD and SW space and help the company consolidate process to make it efficient through Salesforce (Health Cloud)
Interview, observation, field study, shadowing, clinical research to understand clinic function, low fidelity wireframing, medium fidelity wireframing, usability testing, accessibility testing, remote focus group of features and JTBD reporting, design sprint planning

To replicate the Latin American resilience study in the LGBTQIA population through education and awareness study in 3 languages.
With our work and design, we truly achieved the curb-cut effect coz this format was not only used in other languages as well but the study could now be conducted in communities with almost no sexual/reading literacy across the globe.
A full case study is still in the works but some results and processes are explained here.

CiTi bank has a 1 Trillion dollar commitment towards climate goals until 2030. As part of their auditing and evaluation of these investments 2 reviewers and 1 approver (C-Level) have to evaluate transactions that are submitted internally or by a third party every quarter. The current work is done on Excel, email and Zoom and lacks any audit trail, best practice for documentation and experience, and extremely cumbersome look back YoY. The business invested 1 million in 2023 toward a Sustainable Finance Transaction Review(SFTR), which was supposed to be delivered by June 2024. It is still in phase 1 of delivery and I was brought in to streamline the design sprinting and align the product to CiTi design best practices.
The three persona identified were submitters, reviewers, and approvers. Submitters were making a submission using bulk or single form submission. Reviewers were ensuring the data and fields (80 per form) were accurately filled out. This process could take several rounds of back and forth between the submitter and reviewers. Once fully audited the forms would then move on to the approvers who were reporting it to other business units on risk and investment gaps.
Persona creation, user and journey mapping, baselining current release, RITE with low and Hi-fidelity wireframes, and documenting phase 2 stories for design sign-offs.
Once the tech team saw the documentation and baseline of the work they were open to a research plan for phase 2 and a usability testing of phase 1 release
They were also more open to Rapid Iterative Testing and Evaluation (RITE) for phase 2.
