Too often when you get to high school, your teachers, your parents and sometimes even YOU assume you already have learned how to do quality research. In my experience both as a teacher and a media specialist, I've learned that whether y'all are right or wrong, there's ALWAYS room for improvement! Use the resources listed below to check and expand your research skills.
Research Basics: an open academic research skills course. While currently our only full access to JSTOR is in person at Fulton County Public Libraries, JSTOR offers many "open" resources, and this Research course is one of them. "The course contains three modules, each made up of three short lessons and three sets of practice quizzes. The topics covered are subjects that will help you prepare for college-level research. Each module ends with an assessment to test your knowledge." (JSTOR)
