Gleaning every day with hopes and dreams, Paz traverses a path of love with her prestigious and loving husband Juan Luna. Isa Dalawa Tatlo, Nawantutri tayo” is an onsite theatrical production composed of three one-act plays —“Indigo Child” by Rody Vera, “Punks Not Dead” by Andrew Bonifacio Clete, and “Kung Paano Ako Naging Ikatlong Miss Fiesta Sunshine Golden Gay Barangay San Marinos by Dominique La Victoria. Vera, Clete, and Victoria are award-winning playwrights. The three plays tackle historical events in Philippine history from Martial Law to Post-Edsa. This is the offering of the Ateneo Entablado in its 40th (Ruby) theater season.

Directed by Guelan Luarca, Ardór is part of a trilogy of dystopian plays about the Philippines. It is the prequel to Nekropolis, staged by Tanghalang Pilipino last April, described as a “love letter” to the Filipino people and a critique on the current state of the country. In line with the upcoming season theme, “Pag-Ibig at Himagsikan:, Ardor aims to set the tone as the first production of the season and explore socio-political issues through the stage.

The trilogy, directed by university professor Jethro Tenorio, features three one-act plays that each depict experiences of societal struggles through the lens of gender, militarization, and migration faced by historically marginalized Filipinos. “Matira ang Matibay” by Bernice Dacara and “The Commonwealth of Virginia” by JB Capino, are both renewed plays previously shown by ENTABLADO.

Kooman & Dimond’s Orphie and the Book of Heroes is the coming-of-age story of Orphie, a young orphan girl, who sets out to save storyteller Homer and his Book of Heroes–a quest that takes her on a journey of coming into her own.
