Like a gentle breeze on a warm summer day that brings a sense of calm and tranquility, the ACGC brings forth harmonies resembling a warm embrace, wrapping around you and enveloping you in a sense of serenity. A song that speaks of a solitude that is freely given to those who seek it—a solitude that surpasses all understanding and earthly comforts. The simple yet profound melodies of Nystedt’s masterpiece resembles the simple, yet powerful message of the Lord’s assurance: “Peace, I Leave With You.”

The Ateneo College Glee Club, conducted by Phoebe Bitoon, invites you to Manus in Manu: A Night of Song and Praise. As we sing in offering to our Lord, we share the world premiere of Misa Parokya by Eudenice Palaruan. Bask in the joys of our music with guest soloists Carmina Lourdes Atienza (Soprano), Eugene Soyosa (Tenor), and Jed Marcelo (Baritone) and the masterful instrumental of the Lumina String Ensemble as we perform the works of Schubert, Mendelssohn, Parker, Pärt, Barret and Schmitt, Feliciano, and Baes.
