Request to Change Second Semester IPS in Preparation for Shifting (For First Year Students Only)
Request to Change Second Semester IPS in Preparation for Shifting (For First Year Students Only)
While First Year students are only allowed to formally shift to another degree program at the end of their first year of studies, they may submit a request to change their Individual Program of Study (IPS) for the Second Semester of their First Year by the prescribed deadline. The request to change their IPS is meant to assist students who have already decided to shift out of their current programs even before the end of their First Year.
Notes to Students: (Please read)
Students may shift to another degree program only after the completion of their First Year of studies at the Loyola Schools.
However, First Year students who are preparing to shift may request for an adjustment to their second semester Individual Program of Study (IPS) by the stated deadline.
Once approved by the concerned offices, changes to a student’s IPS for the First Year, Second Semester will be made by the Registrar’s Office.
Approval of the revision to a First Year student’s second semester program of study does not guarantee acceptance to one’s intended degree program. The department/program offering your intended program will still have to evaluate whether the student meets the program’s shifting requirements.
To request for a change of IPS in preparation for shifting, first year students must accomplish the online application form.
