The Music Subject Area envisions graduates who have a deep understanding of the music around them, enabling them to influence others to appreciate and develop a love for local and international works of music. The goal is for students to develop life skills through music-making.
The Music Program, based on the Kodaly Concept, aims to develop music literacy through an understanding of fundamental music concepts and mastery of basic music skills, including sight singing, music writing, and instrument playing.Â
Students must get a grade of A in Music and cannot have a conduct mark lower than B in all subjects during the term to be awarded.
