As you come to the end of another week, recall:
What was the best thing that happened to you this week?
Was there a particular event this week that made you feel good, excited, and thankful?
Whatever made you feel joyful this week,
with a grateful heart, say thank you to God for all of these now.
In the same way, can you also recall:
What made you sad this week.
What disappointed you?
What made you tired and upset?
Was there anything you said or did that made you
and others feel sad and disappointed with yourself?
Is there anything you want to say sorry to God now?
Speak to him about these as well.

Now that you have replayed all the events and experiences of this week,
both the good and the bad, imagine God looking at you with much love and understanding.

As we bring our prayer to a close,
ask God to bless and guide you in the coming days.
Surrender to him all your needs, hopes and desires for tomorrow.

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
