As we develop ideas for the project, we must learn about our future consumers and what competitors are already doing to address the needs of these consumers.
First, we will list out consumer needs, both tangible and intangible. During a music festival, consumers will need:
Tangible
Ample amounts of food and water
Easy access to restrooms and trash bins
Transportation and a space to park
Rest areas
Easy accessibility for those with disabilities to all areas
Intangible
An immersive musical and cultural experience
Thrill of experiencing activities and musical performances
A sense of freedom from personal stressors
Uninterrupted connection with the music
Now that we understand our consumer needs, we will delve into direct and indirect competitors that have already attempted to fulfill such needs while also maintaining a sustainable mindset.

Food and reusable mugs for water
Purchased and consumed very often. Participants need to stay fed and hydrated. Food can be purchased through the Canteen, where there are meat, fish, or vegetarian options.
Camping grounds
Popular for those who wish to stay multiple days. Since the festival is four days long, camping would be popular for those who love to engage in several of the programs and activities available each day.
