The Artist course in Code.org was extremely fun and easy to learn how to code. Prior to using Code.org, I learn about basic coding and HTML 5 through Sololearn and Construct 3. My complication with coding usually is when I have trouble when fixing errors or understanding how to use blocks. When starting the artist lesson puzzles, it was confusing with the directions of using the “move” or “turn” blocks. Once I finish the first puzzle, it gave me an understanding of how to do the rest of the lessons. I end up enjoying making art with code blocks. The blocks were descriptive programming of how to draw the shapes and to add functions of colors. Instead of using a mouse or stylus tablet to draw digital, typing a command function to do the same is innovated. Learning to loop the animation also made the process of drawing the shapes fasters than programming longer block codes. I would love to take what I learn from the module and use it to make a game in Construct 3.
