This Power-Up serves as an introduction (or refresher) on writing measurable objectives that align to standards. In the application activity, students will identify standards and create measurable objectives to align to the standard. This Power-Up will give students the opportunity to practice writing measurable objectives that are aligned to the standard(s) selected. In addition, this Power-Up aligns with the Aspiring Teacher Rubric area for Standards and Objectives used throughout the Professional Experience courses.
By the end of this Power-Up students will be able to write measurable objectives that identify what the student/learner will know and be able to do by the end of a lesson. Objectives will include references to expected performance/behavior and specific criteria for mastery. The measurable objectives will be aligned to the standard(s) selected.
