Create a New Project:
- Launch DaVinci Resolve.
- Open the Project Manager.
- Hit the ‘New Project’ button, label, and create your project.
Navigate the Interface:
- Get acquainted with the toolbar at the base.
- Tabs include: Media, Cut, Edit, Fusion, Color, Fairlight, Deliver.
- Stay on the 'Edit' tab for this lesson.
Import Media:
- Go to ‘No Clips in Media Pool’ on the top left.
- Import your videos from the media pool.
- Import the University of Skaro bumper.
- Address any frame rate prompts.
Work with the Interface:
- Source Viewer & Timeline Viewer.
- Preview clips with the Source Viewer.
- Craft your narrative on the timeline.
- Drag clips to the timeline to see them in the Timeline Viewer.
