How to search for classes and register:

1. Log into your MyASU and click on “class search”
2. Enter the course prefix into the subject field
3. Click on "Advanced Search"

Select your campus Location- ONLINE
Optional: Select “Graduate” under Level
Optional: Select “A” and/or “B” in Session

1. Click on the magnifying glass to search available classes
2. Click on the “add” button to add courses to your schedule

Find classes in the course catalog:

You can browse an array of online courses with ASU’s course catalog. Determine subjects that interest you or search for required courses in your program of choice.

Please keep in mind that not all courses are offered every session or semester.

Additionally, some courses listed in the program handbook or course catalog may not be available online.

ASU Online Session Structure

Courses are offered in Session A, Session B, or Session C:

Session A: Runs during the first half of the semester and lasts approximately 7.5 weeks.

Session B: Runs during the second half of the semester and lasts approximately 7.5 weeks.

Session C: Runs for the entire semester and lasts approximately 15 weeks.

Because Sessions A and B are shorter, they cover course material at a faster pace than Session C courses.

Culminating Experience Information

Culminating experience expectations:

All Master of Engineering students (MEng) and each specialty (Systems Engineering, QRSE, and Engineering Management) must select IEE 593 as their culminating experience.

Once you have identified a project advisor, we need you to submit an override request using this link: fultonapps.asu.edu/override/. Make sure to include the name of your faculty advisor in the request, otherwise it might not be approved.

All students admitted to the Master of Software Engineering program (MSE) must complete an applied project (CSE 593) or a portfolio to serve as the culminating experience for their graduate study.

        Once you have identified a project advisor, we need you to submit an override request using this link: fultonapps.asu.edu/override/. Make sure to include the name of your faculty advisor in the request, otherwise it might not be approved.
      - To submit your portfolio, follow this link to fill out the information required and upload your supporting project documents: links.asu.edu/goee-MSE-portfolio-submission
      - Students should submit their portfolio prior to their last semester to allow sufficient time for review and approval. Once the portfolio is approved and processed, students will see the culminating experience satisfied through MyASU – iPOS tab.

All students admitted into the dual Lean Sigma Six Black Belt certification must select IEE 585 Six Sigma Capstone as their culminating experience.
