Volunteering 

Dear Parents!

I am really looking forward to getting to know your child and your family and one of the best ways to do that is to have you in the classroom! We will have lots of opportunities for volunteers this year. If you are interested in volunteering, there are things you can do at home or at school that would be of great help. Just let me know if you are interested in helping and what you would prefer to do! There will be a packet coming home where you will find several forms to fill out, along with the volunteer form. Please get that back to school as soon as possible and it will be routed to the office. One thing I do ask is that you give us the first two weeks, including the first day of school, before planning to come into the classroom and volunteer. The beginning of the year is crucial for building community in our classroom, and it is important for everyone that I have that time to get to know the students and for them to get to know me. I will make sure to send a note to all parents once we are ready to have helpers come in. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding!
