Food & Nutrition

Our Commitment to Students and Their Families

Anacortes School District's Food & Nutrition Team is committed to keeping our kids safe in the cafeteria or classroom-wherever breakfast or lunch are served.

Following the recommendations and principles provided by OSPI's Reopening Washington Schools 2020 District Planning Guide, ASD will:

  • encourage handwashing before meals

  • limit the size of gatherings in the cafeteria

  • ask students to eat meals outdoors and/or serve meals in classrooms

  • stagger mealtimes throughout the day

  • provide multiple grab-and-go lunch options

  • implement increased sanitation measures between groups of students

If you have specific questions or concerns about meals for your child, please contact Paula Lindbo, Food & Nutrition Supervisor.
